We currently have a local mandate that requires us to wear masks again indoors regardless of vaccination status due to Covid-19.  I am vaccinated and will be wearing my mask with you.

Massage add-ons

Warm & Soothing Hot Packs ($20): Add heated gel packs to your 60, 75, 90 or 120 Min Massage Treatment! Heated gel packs are placed on all the major muscle groups for the duration of the treatment, allowing muscles to more easily loosen up, so that deeper therapeutic work can be done.

Luxurious Organic Back Scrub ($15): Add to any 75, 90 or 120 Min Massage Treatment. Does your back need a little TLC? Our backs are one of the hardest places for us to reach on our own and often need exfoliating to help with dry, itchy skin.

Organic Foot Scrub ($15): You can add a luscious, exfoliating foot scrub to any facial or massage…you know you want a little more pampering.

Lymphatic Dry Brushing ( $15): Dry brushing can be added to your massage session. The mechanical action of dry brushing is wonderful for exfoliating dry skin. It also helps detoxify by increasing blood circulation and promoting lymph flow/drainage. Dry brushing unclogs pores in the exfoliation process. It also stimulates your nervous system, which can make you feel invigorated afterward

Get the most out of your massage or facial treatment!

Here are some guidelines to help you feel at ease and gain the greatest benefit from your massage or your skincare treatment. Communication regarding the treatment is highly encouraged before your session, during and/or after. You are the expert of your body so feel free to speak up. If something is too hot, cold, uncomfortable, pressure too deep or too light…please let us know so we can adjust to your preference.

For bodywork treatments we encourage you to close your eyes and allow yourself to relax as completely as possible. Focus your attention on your breathing, which should be slow, deep and even.

For facials and skincare treatments, we also encourage you to relax and feel pampered but if you feel like chatting…that’s fine too.

Try to plan ahead for your session. We realize that circumstances are not always going to be ideal before and after your massage and or skincare treatment but if you can get as close as possible then why not.

  • Arrive hang-over free and your tummy not too full
  • Avoid excessive alcohol consumption after your massage or later that evening (you could get nauseous)
  • Avoid excessive exercise after your facial and or peel so your skin has an opportunity to drink up all the yummy serums and nourishing antioxidants that have been applied durning your facial while also giving your skin some calming ‘down time’
  • Try to pick a day or time of day that you don’t feel the need to wash your face immediately after your facial…this allows for all the yummy serums and cocktails to penetrate deeper into your skin
  • Plan a relaxing evening after your massage and drink plenty of water
  • Enjoy the afterglow!

Glycolic or Lactic Peel ($30): Ready to take your facial to the next level? Add to any facial treatment a glycolic or lactic peel! Lactic Peel: exfoliating, softening, hydrating + lightening (great for normal, dry, sun damaged and hyperpigmented skin types). Glycolic Peel: exfoliating and softening, treats mild to moderate acne, minimizes pore size (great for normal, oily, acneic and dry skin types)

LED Light Therapy: SB Location only ($30) LED Light delivers enough energy to stimulate a response from the body to heal itself. Aside from the great results, the best news is that Light Therapy has no reported side effects. This is a FDA approved Therapy. Red Light: Refreshes and renews the skin. Promotes healing, stimulates collagen & fibroblast production, helping to reduce fine lines and overall firming. Increases moisture retention and increases oxygenation of the skin. Blue Light: Kills bacteria and helps heal acne. Green Light: Aids in reducing hyperpigmentation from sun damage, melasma and acne scarring as well as minimizing rosacea. Microdermabrasion uses a diamond tip instrument to gently sand your skin, removing the thicker, uneven outer layer while also suctioning up the dead skin cells.

  1. What to Wear? Wear comfortable stretchy form fitting athletic attire. Yoga pants can be too loose around the bottom of the leg, so something more form fitting is best: shorts, capris and ankle length all work. You can be barefoot or wear pilates socks that have grippy nubs on the bottom so you don’t slip are great options also.
  2. Hydrate and Nourish Your Body: Make sure your body is hydrated and you’ve nourished your body with healthy fuel for your session but try to avoid a full tummy. Think snack or grazing rather than a full meal. Make sure you bring a water bottle to hydrate throughout your session and especially after.
  3. Remember to Breathe! There is no rule to breathing but most find that inhaling to prepare for your movement and exhaling as you engage in a bigger movement or against more tension works well. Play with your breath and see what works best for you but remember to not hold your breath.
  4. Be Patient with Yourself. Lots of new equipment and new moves can be a little intimidating at first, but just take one move at a time and focus on the move and precision of the move rather than powering through it quickly.
